Pemprov DKI Luncurkan Sistem Transportasi Terintegrasi Jak Lingko

City Replaces OK Otrip Into Jak Lingko

Jakarta Provincial Government is launching Jak Lingko, which is the development of an intermodal transportation integration program in the capital.

This is for the first time all small transport operators along with Transjakarta at the same network

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan expressed that it will be integrated with public transportation modes. That means each lane is connected to each other, as well as the ticket and the management.

"Thank God, today is historic for all of us. This is for the first time all small transport operators along with Transjakarta at the same network," he expressed, during launching procession, at City Hall, Monday (10/8).

OK OTrip Trial Period Has Ended

Through incentives in the form of comfort, security and low cost, it is expected that there would be more people interested in using public transportation modes.

"By so, workers in the field of public transportation must also be considered increasing their welfare. Thus the system can be sustainable," he said.

According to him, Jak Lingko naming is a form of respect for regional languages that can be used as an absorption language in Indonesian.

It is a vocabulary taken from the culture itself, which is an integrated network system that is used to develop water distribution of rice fields in East Nusa Tenggara.

"So, the small, medium and big-sized buses up to LRT and MRT will be connected," he stated.

As for the information, the city previously used the name of OK OTrip for integrated public transportation services. OK OTrip trial starts on January 15, 2018.

During trial, 484 small-sized buses are joined in the integrated service. Meanwhile, OK OTrip card sales reached 94,622 with total services reaching 5,002,070 customers.
